| In 2006, the Phoenix Film Project became a chapter of the prestigious Independent Feature Project (IFP) and was re-named IFP/PHX. With its original goals of creating a thriving independent filmmaking community in Arizona, the creation of IFP/PHX adds national benefits and exposure to its members. Education, discounts, networking and exhibition opportunities are staples on the calendar of events.
IFP/PHX is a 501c3 under the Phoenix Film Foundation and is a proud sibling of the Phoenix Film Festival, the Phoenix Film Society and the International Horror/Sci-Fi Festival.
